Silo-shaped wind turbine gets fed boost in Idaho

An Idaho wind energy developer, Montana Hutterite farmers and the government are working on silo-shaped wind turbines capable of producing 100 kilowatts of electricity.
Exergy Development Group of Boise and Montana's Cascade Conservation District received a $1 million grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Natural Resource Conservation Service.
