The course focuses on funders concerned with conservation and natural resource management. 

Topics include recognizing different funding levels (grassroots, informal, formal), principles of strategic thinking; researching potential funding sources; and understanding the components of a proposal. Participants write a proposal with assistance from the course instructor.
